The venture is a social documentary photography project that examines inequality across Birmingham through the overlooked yet revealing space of the bus stop. By photographing stops in different neighbourhoods, the project highlights stark contrasts in maintenance, accessibility, and infrastructure, quietly exposing wider disparities in funding and public investment. Bus stops become visual markers of uneven resource distribution, shaping everyday experiences of mobility and community. Where opportunities and the quality of public services are determined by location rather than need. Through these ordinary sites, the project invites viewers to consider how inequality is embedded in the urban landscape.
